225!

I just returned from Beach Baptism at Bill Baggs State Park, where we baptized 225 people! That is the most that we have ever baptized. Eric and I baptized together and we easily were in the water baptizing for over an hour! Amazing! God is so good.

What a weekend! The second week of Boot Camp and another incredible weekend. Worship was amazing. It was so good to be worshiping together as a family of God. God surprised me this weekend; the way that He moved was very humbling. It was very sweet.

If you have not signed up for Ministry Rally, please do so asap! This is going to be an exciting rally. We will be meeting at our Downtown campus. What an opportunity to see all that God is doing at CF.

We will be taking a bus, so it is important to have an accurate count. I will have registration cards at rehearsal Wednesday evening.
You know it's going to be great.

Blessings

The Lord Is So Good

Well, it's around 10:13 PM and I'm thinking about all that took place this weekend.

The Lord is so good. Every campus was exploding with people. It was awesome!

A special thanks to Tricia Russell, artist and Christ Fellowship volunteer, who was amazing this weekend. She secured painters for all of our campuses. Each campus had multiple painters who painted during the music portion of our worship services. Painting individual paintings culminating at the end to create one large painting. It was really great.

Tricia had to meet with all the painters, create the final image that would be painted, rehearse, meet again. She did an unbelievable job in pulling all the technical details that needed to happen. When you see her, be sure to give her a big thanks.

Now, let's get ready for BOOT CAMP.

Are you taking the BOOT CAMP CHALLENGE? Let's do this thing!

Love is Here

It was a super weekend!

Easter Week 1. Pastor Eric spoke. We had many decisions for Christ. It was really cool. Check it; Before we took the Lord's Supper, Eric gave an invitation for those who had not crossed the line of faith as of yet. It was bold. Those who came needed to move forward while those around them were seated, no music. It was big. But many did. It was really awesome!

The worship team led the congregation in a new song for us at CF. "Love is Here."

The Lord gave His life, once and for all. Look what Herbrews 9 tells us:

"23It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence. 25Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

This is it. Easter is here. Let's be sure we are inviting friends and family to the services this weekend.

Blessings to you.
